Bart is a Chattanooga native who joined the firm after earning his Juris Doctorate with a concentration in Business Transactions from the University of Tennessee College of Law.
While attending UT law, Bart served as a judicial intern in the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Tennessee and the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of Tennessee. Bart also gained experience in labor and employment law, environmental regulation, governmental tort liability, civil forfeiture, federal appropriations, and commercial procurement as a law clerk for the UT-Battelle, LLC Office of General Counsel at the Oak Ridge National Laboratory and with the U.S. Department of the Interior, Office of the Solicitor in Knoxville, TN.
As a law student, Bart represented community groups in forming non-profit corporations and obtaining tax exempt status as a student attorney in the UT law nonprofits clinic, served on the Editorial Board for Transactions: The Tennessee Journal of Business Law, and was a research assistant to Lindsay Young Distinguished Professor of Law and Director of the Clayton Center for Entrepreneurial Law Professor George W. Kuney.
Prior to law school, Bart attended the University of Tennessee, Knoxville graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Management, with a Marketing Collateral.
